career and teenagers:

I just couldnt go to sleep so i thought i should write something , im fond of writing. and i think, ill improvise my skills this way :D

anyway what should i write about ? hmmm , as my main focus is teenagers so yeah,ill write something about them (im saying as if ive passed this period or so) haha.. sometimes i behave so mature that i end up laughing at my own self :D

okay.. so another thing that we "teenagers" face is our dreams and career problems.. at the age of "16 to 18" we usually get a lot of choices in front of us,but the selection matters alot. I was going through some researches and analysis and i read that students who are going through this period are being pressurized a lot. Our parents want something productive from us,out teachers eventually want the same but they say something really different. Influence of friends is another factor and we end up with a confused puzzled double mind which cause serious trouble for the society  :/

i shall share you my personal experience,my parents wanted me to be a doctor,my teachers wanted me to go either on the business side or the engineering side.My freinds wanted me to chill and dont do anything haha.. naah,they were like do what so ever you feel like doin (too liberal perhaps ) :D

i chose the engineering side,im still in the pre engineering batch. it all depends on my marks ( please pray for me) . My parents are co-operative they said do whatever feels right to you just do it and make us proud .. 

but my grand father, he scolded me so much that i dont have words for it ! 

Why in the world he doesnt realise that its not about the status? there is no harm in being an engineer rather than being a doctor as long as im independent and doing a good job !! Me like most of us feel that i'll have to prove myself . i'll tell all those people who said "naah you can't that i can,i can,i can !! obviously its a secretive talk between me and all of you. people usually donot understand our state of mind and start challenging.Is it right by any way?   

i want to make my parents proud,my teachers and colleagues. i want to be the best. i want to have the best friends,the best institute,the best reputed firm to work in :D haha.. man ! i know we all feel the same way,its just some say and some donot :D

But not all parents are liberal, i have a friends whose brother attempted to suicide just because of the career issues. What he wanted his parents didnt. they pressurized him so much that he prefered giving up on his life rather than siting with them and telling them his view point but lucky him,after the incident his parents granted him the permission to do whatever he wanted to and he is a well known music director now maybe his parents could'nt stand the shock or maybe they couldn't tolerate so much at such ages. . anyway at the end i have ..

A message to all teenagers that donot DONOT   do things which not only cause harm to you,but embarrassment  for your family too.

and a message to all parents out there : please donot pressurize your kids so much,give them space to live,give them time to think. let them do whatever they want to. No profession is wrong. even a cobbler,a barber and a sweeper contributes something to their country. so why do you snub your kids so much that they not only stop doing what they were capable of,they even stop doing EVERY POSSIBLE THING a man can do !

alas ! people might not read this or maybe they read it but don't pay much attention and face the consequences later !

please people please. You get this life once,just enjoy and be free. not bound yourselves to such aims and goals which leads to something you regret later on .. live and let live :)
